The Full Story

About

James and Margie Sanford purchased the 21 acre property in 2021 with the hopes to open a winery in the near future.  Six variety of muscadines were planted in February of 2022.  Prior to the winery opening, the couple renovated the building to provide a beautiful space to hold events, such as weddings and special occasions.  In early 2024, a new pavilion was erected in the front lawn area, which overlooks a beautiful rolling grassy landscape and mountain views in the warm months, but allows a peek at the gorgeous golden sunrise reflecting off the great Logan Martin Lake surface in the cooler months.  Either view is breathtaking!

The winery paperwork was approved and given the go-ahead in May of 2025 and now the Winery is being marketed as a wonderful addition to Pell City, AL.  A place where people can come hang out with friends and celebrate special occasions or just relax and enjoy a glass of great wine.  Whatever the reason, we are glad you found us!

Friday  11 AM to 8 PM

Saturday 11 AM to 8 PM

Sunday 12 PM to 6 PM

Please Note:

  • Outside Food & Drinks are not allowed, unless preapproved or arranged by owners.

  • This is a winery / wine bar and we check IDs.

  • While children may come with parents or guardians, they MUST stay with and be supervised by parent / guardian at ALL times.

  • While we know that our fur babies are important parts of families, we unfortunately do NOT allow any pets unless they are documented service animals.
